Bald, Beautiful & Blonde
Amber Rose is yet another ”African-American” model that is boldly wearing the bald look,…but in blonde.
If you are bold enough to cut your locks off, why not kick it up another notch and go blonde? Regardless how fair or dark your skin is, there is always a shade in the blonde family that will accentuate your natural undertones and give you that bold, edgy look.
Once you have determined the perfect hair length for you, you can begin the quest of finding the perfect shade of blonde. One thing to note is, the shorter your stubble, the more frequently you will need to touch-up your color. No need to worry about over-processing the hair from overlapping the color unless you plan to continue to grow your hair out. If you plan to maintain the low cut, simply cut and process your color every 2 weeks to keep it looking fresh. For longer hair, you will need to wait a bit longer so you will have more roots to process. Perhaps every 4 weeks will be more reasonable for longer hair that is about 1″-2″ long.
To add extra temporary boldness to your style, try applying a semi-permanent or temporary color to your blonde base. Red, blue, hot pink,…whatever your mood brings, simply add the shade and you will experience a colorful result that will last for a few weeks. Note: The lighter your hair is before the temporary color is applied, the brighter and “true” your result will be.
