How To Wear Natural Hairstyles

If you naturally curly, kinky or frizzy hair and the weather is making it difficult to keep your locks silky straight, wearing your hair natural is your new option.

We are seeing more and more ethnic women wearing their own natural textures on T.V., in magazine ads as well as everywhere else we go on a day to day basis. Silky straight hair looks great however so much time and maintenance is needed which can lead to damage and breakage. Put the flat irons away and try wearing your hair natural, for a much needed change.

If you are in need of additional length and/or volume, extensions are a great way to achieve this. If you can’t find hair that matches your texture perfectly, no worries because it is actually better to blend two textures that are “similar”. Even our own natural hair has several different textures so it will look completely natural if you added extensions that weren’t an identical match.

To weave this style, you might take your two similar textures and alternate the rows of textures to achieve this natural look. If you prefer fusion extensions, again, using different similar textures will take this style to a whole new depth. Once your hair is completely dry, simply comb through your curls with your fingers and add more volume. The more you comb, the more volume you will get. If you happen to get too much volume, spray some water mist onto your hair. If you already have very thick, naturally big hair, a light mousse or oil will keep your locks from getting too out of control once it dries.
